Meet Phoenix — The Sound Healer Behind Mystic Wellness

The voice, the bowls, and the room that became an Inner West home for healing.

Walk into the room at 310 Stanmore Road on a quiet afternoon and you'll usually find Phoenix already there — tuning a bowl, adjusting the light, making sure everything is ready before anyone arrives. This is Mystic Wellness: a sound healing and gathering space in Petersham, seven minutes from the station, in the heart of Sydney's Inner West.

From Sound, Voice, and Movement — to a Room of His Own

Before Mystic Wellness existed, I was already following this thread through sound, voice, movement, and one-to-one practice. The work kept bringing me back to the same simple question: what happens when a room is prepared with care before anyone even walks in?

Mystic Wellness grew from that question. It was never a brand built from the outside. It was a room shaped from the inside, one session at a time, until it became a place that could hold private healing, group sound, facilitator work, and community without losing its quiet centre.

Inside a Private Session with Phoenix

In a private session, I work with what is actually present on the day. The session runs for 90 minutes and is $190, with sound, stillness, voice, vibrational massage, and intention woven around the person in the room rather than a fixed script.

Most people arrive a little wound up and leave noticeably softer. It is not something you watch. It is something you feel happening, in real time, in your own body.

Moon Bath, Dream With Me, and the Gatherings I Lead

Alongside private sessions, I lead group experiences at Mystic Wellness, including Moon Bath and community sound gatherings shaped by the room's own rhythm. These are not separate from the private practice. They are the same intention, shared: sound as a way back to yourself, held in a room with other people.

Building Mystic Community

Mystic Wellness was never meant to be one room with one practitioner. I have always wanted it to become a facilitator-led hub for the Inner West: a place where other practitioners can run their own gatherings, where the community board connects people to what is coming up, and where the Facilitator Library introduces the people holding space here.

The Room Itself

The same room that holds private sessions and Moon Bath is also available to hire. Studio hire starts from $250 for a 3-hour session, with half-day and full-day options, and the room holds groups of up to 35. It is already set up for the kind of work that happens here.

Where to Go From Here

Whether you are here for a private session, a Moon Bath, or to find your place in the Inner West wellness community, the room on Stanmore Road is the starting point.
